  • Type and search office.com/setup URL on the search address.
  • Once your web browser opens the page, take your mouse to the page top.
  • Click on Sign in tab and enter the login credentials.
  • Press Enter, and you will be logged in.
  • You can also go through “create a new account” if you don’t have any.

The office product key is a unique 25 alphanumeric digits code that you can purchase online or as in card. If you have purchased the Office copy of keycode, check the order email, or have a retail card, check the instructions and find the code. Then, visit www.office.com/setup and enter this keycode here. With this Office product key’s help, you can download and install Microsoft Office setup or even renew the subscription.

Microsoft Office Download – download Microsoft office from Office.com/setup

Microsoft Office setup can be downloaded with the help of an Office account and product key. Follow the below instruction to download Office setup on your computer;

  1. Launch the web browser.
  2. Go to www.office.com/setup webpage.
  3. If you already have signed in to Office, then move further, or click Sign In.
  4. In case you do not have any Office account, click “create a new account” at the same office.com/setup site.  
  5. Once you logged in or detects automatically, the product key box will prompt on your screen.
  6. Now, enter the Microsoft Office keycode that you recently purchased.
  7. Choose the country, region, and language from the dropdown.
  8. Provide the payment info and click Install apps, then wait until it downloads

Install Office on Your Device – Windows & Mac installation

Make sure you have an Office account; if not, then create one and download Office setup. Once you are done, install Office on your device. Follow the below guidelines to install Office setup on Windows and Mac;

Office Installation for Windows

  • Download Microsoft Office for windows from office.com/setup site.
  • According to the used browser, run the installer with Run, Setup, Save File, or any other.
  • Once you initiate the installation, you will see a User Account Control pop-up.
  • Click YES and wait for Office installation to begin.
  • If your device is displaying – “You’re all set! Office is installed now”, it means the installation is completed.
  • Animation plays will help you to find apps location, then click Close.

Office Installation for Mac

  • Go to the finder to look for the setup you downloaded from the www.office.com/setup site.
  • Then, open the Downloads folder, look for Microsoft setup, and double-click on Microsoft Office installer.pkg.

Note– Sometimes, the name of the office setup may vary.

  • Hit Continue to start the installation.
  • Read the license agreement, then click Continue and Agree to accept these terms.
  • Select the installation way, hit Continue, then take a review at disk space requirements.
  • Browser the location if you want and hit Install.
  • Once asked, provide the Mac login credentials.

Tap on “Install Software” and wait for installation, then hit the close tab.

How to Activate & Launch Microsoft Office for Windows?

Activate Office on window & get started

  1. The Office software that you download from office.com/setup should be installed properly.
  2. Then, use the Start menu and search any of Office app like Word.
  3. Choose the icon from the search result and click to open.    
  4. On the welcome screen, accept the software license agreement.
  5. You’re done here; office is activated.

Note: – This activation method is only used if you have downloaded the software using a keycode from the www.office.com/setup site. Otherwise, the software may ask you to sign in or enter the office keycode.

How to get started with Microsoft on Mac PC?

At first, go to the office.com/setup site and download the Microsoft office setup using the product key and account. Then install the setup on your Mac device and follow the below instructions to activate the program;

  1. Go to finder and look for any MS office app or follow the next step.
  2. Hover the mouse in Dock and hit on the Launchpad icon to display all software apps.
  3. Next, look for the MS word and click on it.
  4. If you have downloaded the setup from www.office.com/setup, then it will automatically activate the software.
  5. Hence, click on Get Started to activate the Office software.
  6. In case you can’t activate the software, sign in with Office account, and follow prompts.
